This policy explains how Resumease uses cookies and similar browser storage (localStorage). It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What we use

Essential (always on)

  • Authentication tokens (Amazon Cognito / AWS Amplify storage, e.g. keys prefixed CognitoIdentityServiceProvider): keep you signed in and secure your session. Lifetime: until sign-out or token expiry.
  • Consent record (acs-cookie-consent, localStorage): remembers your cookie choice so we don't ask again.
  • PayTabs cookies: set by PayTabs on its hosted payment page for payment security and fraud prevention. See PayTabs' cookie policy.

Analytics (optional, off by default)

If you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner, we may collect aggregated, privacy-respecting usage metrics to improve the product. Declining has no effect on functionality.

2. Your choices

  • Use the cookie banner to accept or decline optional cookies on first visit.
  • Change your mind later by clearing site data for this site in your browser — the banner will ask again on your next visit.
  • Browser settings can block cookies entirely, but essential storage is required to sign in.

3. Changes

If we add new cookie categories, we will update this policy and re-request consent where required.
