These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Resumease (the "Service"), operated by Resumease ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Resumease provides tools for creating, editing, analyzing, and exporting resumes, cover letters, and related career content, including AI-assisted features. The Service is provided for your personal, non-commercial use in managing your own job search, or for use on behalf of an individual who has authorized you to do so.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
  • You must provide a valid email address and keep your credentials confidential.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notify us promptly via the contact page if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Your content

You retain all rights to the content you create or upload — resumes, work history, cover letters, and messages ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including sending it to our AI infrastructure provider to generate the output you request. We do not sell Your Content and do not use it to train AI models.

You are responsible for the accuracy of Your Content. AI-generated suggestions are drafts: you must review them before use, and you are solely responsible for what you submit to employers.

4. Acceptable use

Use of the Service is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms. In summary: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or disrupt the Service, no scraping or resale, and no generating fraudulent credentials or impersonating others.

5. Plans and billing

  • Access passes (7-day, 14-day, or 30-day) are one-time payments made via our payment processor, PayTabs. Prices are shown on the pricing page; applicable taxes are added at checkout.
  • A one-time payment grants access for the stated duration from activation; access is not renewed or charged automatically. Buying a new pass while an existing pass is still active extends your access instead of restarting it.
  • Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.
  • We may change prices at any time; changes apply only to purchases made after the change.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Except for Your Content, no rights are transferred to you.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us, or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where practicable). Upon deletion, Your Content is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that using it will result in interviews, offers, or employment. ATS scores and AI suggestions are estimates and drafting aids, not guarantees of how any employer or screening system will evaluate you.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and USD 50. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will notify you by email or in-app notice at least 7 days before they take effect, and the version date above will change. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
